September 2016: Charlie Chattell

Charlie first attended tennis with us 3 years ago at Bishop's Cleeve Primary School as a year 1 student. He developed his skills and in year 3 made the move from the primary school lessons to our lessons at Cleeve Sports Centre.

Charlie has recently moved on from Red to Orange ball which can be a difficult progression. Not only is the ball faster but the court is also increases in size. Charlie has adjusted very well to the new challenges and his hard work is starting to pay off as he is seeing improvements in his game.

Charlie has a very intelligent tennis brain for someone so young. His reading of the game and judgment is fantastic. Along with his determination & perseverance, Charlie has a very positive attitude regardless of how he is playing. All of these attributes will make him a very successful tennis player.

Well done Charlie! Thoroughly deserved.
