Billie Jean King helped pioneer women's tennis to what it is today. She was bold with her approach and this showed in her tennis. Her quote is not necessarily what a coach would usually agree with because tennis is mostly won by the player who makes the fewest mistakes but what Billie is getting at is that you cannot always play safe and when an opportunity arises to take a risk the go for it.
