Service Description

The NE14 Tennis Academy Our academy tennis training is designed to build on the foundational skills learned in earlier LTA Youth groups and help players develop a more comprehensive understanding of the game. At this level, players should have a good grasp of basic techniques, footwork, and strategy, and they should be ready to refine their skills and take on more advanced challenges. The lessons will include a combination of individual and group training activities, with a focus on developing the players' technical, tactical, physical, and mental abilities. Coaches will use a range of drills and exercises to challenge the players and keep them engaged, while also encouraging them to experiment with different shots and strategies. The technical component of the lesson will focus on refining the players' techniques for different shots, such as groundstrokes, volleys, and serves. Coaches will also work on improving the players' footwork and movement around the court to help them better position themselves for shots. The tactical component of the lesson will focus on developing the players' shot selection, court positioning, and decision-making abilities. Players will be encouraged to think strategically and anticipate their opponent's moves. The physical component of the lesson will focus on improving the players' overall fitness and endurance through a range of conditioning exercises and activities. Players will also be introduced to agility and speed drills to improve their reaction time and ability to change direction quickly. The mental component of the lesson will focus on helping players develop their focus, concentration, and confidence. Coaches will encourage players to stay positive and to learn from their mistakes, while also providing constructive feedback and support. What's Included - Unlimited LTA Youth Lessons - Academy training for player's age group - Fortnightly One-to-one lesson - October Half-term Camps - Video Analysis, Lesson Reporting and Goal Setting - Tournament Guidance and Support - Parents can attend 1 adult lesson per week - 2 Adult Tickets to our End of Season Awards evening Pricing For the Autumn > Winter 2023 Season, the total cost will be £340 per player. (50% off for additional siblings). Payment can be paid in full or monthly (£85 x 4 monthly payments).
