Our 9&U and 14&U girls teams had fixtures this weekend.
Our 9&U tennis team had a blast at Oxstalls sports park on Sunday morning. They showed off some awesome tennis skills and their teamwork was brilliant. Against Beckford, a big doubles win was needed to help win the fixture. Even though they had a super close match against East Glos C, they never gave up and played with all their heart. Shoutout to Tommy and Ezra for being amazing players and making everyone proud! Way to go, champs! Keep swinging those rackets and having fun on the court!
Our 14&U girls team had a fantastic time playing away at Minchinhampton, even though they didn't come out on top this time. Ruby totally turned things around with her awesome comeback in her singles match, winning after a tough start. Isla gave it her all in her match too, and even though she didn't win, she played with so much heart to the very end. In the doubles, they fought hard but just fell short. But you know what? They all learned so much from the experience, and that's what really counts! Ruby and Isla gained some super valuable lessons that will make them even stronger players in the future. Keep shining, girls! Your determination and spirit are what make you true champions!
