Our after-school courses are open to year 1 and 2 children all year around and Reception children can join us in the Summer. They provide an excellent start for children to learn tennis in a comfortable and familiar environment.

Players will learn the technique for each of the four main shots: Serve, Forehand, Backhand and Volley across the term. 

​

Players will also learn the match rules, familiarise themselves with the tennis court and valuable life skills like teamwork and sportsmanship. 

​

At the end of the course, players will be split into teams as they compete in a friendly competition. 

​

When year 2 children move to year 3, we recommend they join our LTA Youth Red lessons out of school to continue their progress.
